Subject: Rate Adjustment Effective 10-01-08 |

Due to severe
winter weather (ice damage & record snowfalls) and above average hail &
wind, it is necessary to take moderate rate increases in auto, home, and
dwelling fire. The homeowners rate factors for homes greater than
$200,000 were reduced, therefore minimal or slight decreases in their
premiums. |

The last
increase for auto and home was in 2003 and the current increases average
less than 4% on an annual basis. |
